Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front surface of the teeth. When bonded to the teeth, the ultra-thin porcelain veneers are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to coffee, tea or even cigarette stains.

Resin veneers are an alternative treatment option to ceramic veneers. Placing and layering resin veneers is a skill Dr. Peddey acquired under the tuition of world leading expert Dr. Newton Fahl in a 5 day hands-on clinical program in Brazil. Placement of resin veneers can often be completed in a single visit, and can improve the appearance of teeth significantly.

Invisalign

Invisalign is a treatment system which involves you being provided with a set of clear, removable, plastic aligners that are custom made to gradually straighten your teeth. Invisalign requires no restriction on your diet, as the aligners are not fixed and can be taken on and off like a retainer. The non-fixed nature of the product also means there are no negative effects on the gums and supporting tissue. You will be reviewed regularly by Dr Peddey throughout your Invisalign treatment. Gum Recontouring

Even if the teeth are perfectly aligned and healthy, a smile may be diminished by an obtrusive gum line, sometimes referred to as a gummy smile. The teeth appear small or disproportionate. Laser therapy can trim away excess gum line and craft the gum line to your specifications.

Using laser therapy to shape the gums is fast, effective, pain free and usually does not require a needle for a local anaesthetic. Since stitches are not required the gums can heal faster, usually back to normal in a few days.
